Decision
The product requirements document is the root document of the MVP. The frontend specifications are parts of it, not alternative sources of scope.
Why
The PRD is the only document that states the hypothesis, the success metric, the segment and the boundaries:
- the metric is the share of cards that reach a channel feed from raw data without manual edits, while staying factually accurate;
- the threshold is 50–60% — below that the economics do not work and the hypothesis has to be revisited;
- the segment is a distributor or an agency with a catalogue of 500–5000 SKUs;
- the channels are Prom.ua and Google Merchant Center.
What it replaces
Deriving scope from the frontend specs. They describe screens and flows; they do not define what the product is.
